How to setup Smart Cover & Call apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Smart Cover & Call Details
This is a 2 in 1 application that uses the device proximity sensor to offer the following services:Smart Cover:
This service turn your flip cover to a smart one. This service has three modes:
- Sleep mode: which only lock and turn the screen off when you close your flip cover or put the phone in your pocket.
- Wake up mode: which only turn on the screen when you open your flip cover or get the phone out of your pocket.
- Wake up & Sleep mode: which lock and turn off the screen when you close your flip cover or put the phone in your pocket, and when you open the cover or get it out from your pocket, the screen is turned on.
Smart Call:
This service use the proximity sensor to automate three important call actions (Mute ringer, Reject Call, Answer Call). The service has three modes:
- Mute: which mute the ringer of an incoming call when you close your flip cover or just put you hand on the phone (close to the proximity sensor).
- Reject: which reject an incoming call when you close your flip cover or just put you hand on the phone (close to the proximity sensor).
- Answer: which answer an incoming call when you close your flip cover or when the phone come in close to the face.
The app settings window allows you to choose each of the above modes. The settings also let you choose to auto start the app on phone boot and the response time of the proximity sensor.
The app main screen allows you to start and stop each of the two services and hide the main screen.
You can uninstall the app using the device application manager after releasing the lock admin. To simplify the process, we added an uninstall button in the main screen. Just tab the button and the application will be uninstalled
To use the app you have to check the activate button when the app starts to enable the lock screen feature.
Requested permissions:
Service that cost you money,Read phone status and Reroute outgoing calls: These permissions are used to allow the app to answer or reject a call using the proximity sensor and to mute the ringer. Smart Cover & Call does not cost you money or reroute any calls - Android lists these permissions together even if the app is just checking the ringer
status or checking whether the call is incoming or outgoing one.
Prevent phone from sleeping: Android list this permission if the app wants to lock or wake up the screen.
