Traditional ways of reaching customers are becoming more and more deprecated.Therefore, finding more advanced and elegant methodologies become vital. The need of
new efficient marketing technologies that respect peoples' privacy are also highly
accepted. In this project, a new technology called iBeacon, which uses Bluetooth low
energy (BLE) technology, which is a new standard that is implemented in all modern
smartphones, to trigger an event each time a user enters or exits a region. iBeacon SDK
integrated in a mobile application allows to handle these events (entering/exiting a region)
in order to run any code (such as sending offers to customers). Connected with the fancy
Parse.com cloud services, this application will provide users with a smoothly, engaging
and charming experience.
