Co-op Country Farmers Elevator Description
Co-op Country Farmers Elevator (CCFE), as it is known today, was incorporated on July 1, 1986. The business is the result of a consolidation between Sacred Heart Farmers Elevator (formed in 1886), Renville Farmers Elevator (formed in 1890), Danube Farmers Elevator (formed in 1906) and Renville Co-op Fertilizer Company. In 1990 the Olivia Farmers Elevator (formed in 1906) became part of CCFE and in 1993 the Vigaro Farm Market fertilizer plant in Olivia was purchased.CCFE's core business revolves around grain, agronomy and feed. Grain facilities are located in Sacred Heart, Renville, Danube and Olivia. Two agronomy centers are located in Renville and Olivia. The Company's feed is manufactured through its ownership in United Mills, located in Renville. In addition to its core business units, CCFE also provides financing, leasing and crop insurance to its producers through its investment in AgQuest Financial Services and AgQuest Insurance Agency.
