How to setup Axxelerate - RC Timing apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Axxelerate - RC Timing Details
Did you ever feel like there should be an easy way to track your lap times directly on your phone?Well i did too - and here is my solution!
What is Axxelerate?
Axxelerate is a simple app that tracks your laps using your regular transponder, with the tracks timing system!
How does it work?
Axxelerate consists of two parts, this app here, and the AxServer. Your local club has to install the AxServer on their Timing System (can be anything from a RaspberryPI to regular WIndows/Linux/Mac machines). AxServer is Free to Download at http://www.axxelerate.racing/.
The AxServer will connect to your MyLaps or Robitronic Timing System and post all your laps into the Cloud, where your Smartphone can read them back to you.
Does my Club offer this Service?
Ask them! If they are not tell them about it! The required software is free and runs on all Operating Systems (from a RaspberryPI to you regular PC). All they really need is an Internet connection.

This app is currently still under heavy testing, if the app crashes it asks you to send the bug report as an email. Please use this feature to help me get this thing stable!
